Co-op welcomes The Unlimited Company into the superstore
The Radstock Co-operative Society is celebrating the launch of its newest retailer onto the site: The Unlimited Company from Simplyhealth.
On Saturday 1st October, the doors were officially opened to this specialist store offering a vast range of home and mobility products, to help people live without limits.
In a modern, sleek environment more akin to a technology store, The Unlimited Company has a very different feel to other retailers in the mobility field.
Brian White, Store Manager, said:
“We hope to help as many people as possible regain or rediscover their independence. This might be in the home, using a cleverly designed piece of furniture or kitchen appliance, or out and about using a power chair with ergonomic steering system. Come and talk to us about your needs and we’ll help you to live an unlimited life.”
As part of the Co-operative Society’s commitment to meeting the needs of our members, customers and local people, The Unlimited Company was chosen to open a store since they provide useful, unique products and knowledgeable advice to people of all ages with a disability or reduced mobility.
Somerset residents will now have a convenient place to browse mobility scooters, electric wheelchairs, comfortable footwear and riser recliner chairs, among hundreds of other well-designed products.
The Unlimited Company sees itself as very much part of the community, and in fact supported outstanding local people by sponsoring the Bristol Post Awards in 2015 and 2016 in the Voluntary and Community Sector and Disability Sports categories.
The opening day was a fun event, with hundreds of Radstock shoppers popping in for a first look and free cupcake! Brian and the team cut the ribbon at 10am and were delighted with the feedback received about the modern and stylish store.
