As part of Radstock Co-operative Society’s celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee we are supporting local communities with donations towards their community events.
Yesterday we had the pleasure of presenting our first donation & kicking off the fundraising for Friends of King George V Playing Field. Who are looking to raise £1,500 for a permanent outdoor table tennis table, that will be placed in King George V Playing Field as part of Chew Magna’s celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
‘It’s great to have the honour of presenting Radstock Co-operative Society’s first Jubilee donation & to support a local cause, in their fundraising efforts for a permanent table tennis table for all the community to enjoy,’ Matt Prout, Store Manger of Chew Magna Co-op part of Radstock Co-operative.
Matt Prout, Store Manager presented a £100 cheque to children from Chew Magna Primary School, who received the cheque on behalf of Friends of King George V Playing Field.
